Hospital rankings, such as those by U.S. News & World Report, are significant for hospitals and patients alike. They offer a benchmark for healthcare quality and can influence patient choices and hospital reputation. However, some hospital administrators question the rankings' authority and importance, suggesting a nuanced view of their impact. Creating a healthier future is crucial for communities as it enhances overall well-being, reduces healthcare costs, and fosters a supportive environment for sustainable development. It leads to improved quality of life and longevity for community members. #unitedseniorassociation #USA #eldercare #FDA #seniorliving #ADA #AI #NIH #patientcare #compliance #hospitals #OIG #healthcare #HHSOIG #digitalhealth #HSS #CMS #assistedliving #nursinghomes #seniorcare #medicare #seniorcitizen #homehealthcare #caregiver #dementia #inhomecare #seniorhealth #kloekorby #alzheimers #mentalhealth

Congratulations Center for Children's Advocacy and Yale New Haven Hospital for being honored by the Connecticut Hospital Association for your Medical-Legal Partnership team! Medical-legal partnerships (MLPs) are an innovative approach to delivering legal services by integrating legal expertise into healthcare settings. These partnerships address the social determinants of health, such as housing, access to benefits, and domestic violence, by providing patients with legal assistance alongside medical care. By identifying and addressing legal issues that impact health, MLPs improve patient outcomes, reduce healthcare costs, and enhance the well-being of communities. This holistic model of care fosters collaboration between healthcare providers and legal professionals, ensuring that patients receive comprehensive support to tackle both their medical and legal needs. #MedicalLegalPartnership #MLP #LegalAid #HealthJustice #AccessToJustice #HealthcareInnovation #LegalServices #PublicHealth #HealthcareCollaboration

This is what HCC Coleman College for Health Sciences is about: collaboration, exploration, respect for each other, and fun. Health science divisions need to build up interprofessional activities among all our professions. Starting these activities from the onset of our students’ training, will allow for students to respect each others chosen profession and understand that they WILL work together once out in the field. Because ultimately, the end goal is positive patient outcomes. We achieve this by working together as a collaborative healthcare team. We need to break silos between our occupations and build bridges instead. Thanks to Dr. Elizabeth Ho for starting this much-needed initiative. These efforts to train the next generation of healthcare professionals to work as a team are paving the way for a bright future. #arrt #txsrt #radiography #radiology #experiences #RADexperiences #asrt #radtech #radiographer #radiologictechnology #radiologic #BeRad #BeSeenASRT #ColemanCollege #HoustonCommunityCollege #Moments #JRCERT #CultureBuilds #healthcare #interprofessional #fun #healthcarecommunity #breaksilosbuildbridges #healthcareprofessionals #healthscience #healthsciencecollege #healthsciencescolleges #healthsciencedivision #healthscienceinitiatives
