Life Coach | Mental Fitness Coach - empowering educators and parents to find more calm, clarity and confidence
Do you agree that moving your body is good for your mental health? I certainly do and so do lots of experts - hence the fact that this year’s Mental Health Awareness theme is ‘Movement’ Whether it’s walking, running, dancing or yoga movement really does make a difference to my mental health and stops the overwhelm creeping in and taking over. Yoga brings me calm and allows me to connect back to my body and my breath - it helps me get perspective. Running allows me to process my thoughts - things always feel clearer after a run. Dancing allows me to completely switch off - focusing on the routine and having a massive giggle with the other ladies. For me - I also think that the discipline I need to get up and going and the little challenges and achievements on the way (like running my first 5k, completing a 30 days of yoga challenge or a dance exam) teach me lots about how I can show up in other areas of my life too - like my business. What kind of movement works for you?

Happy Mental Health Awareness Month MMXXIV in North America and Europe. In case you missed it, my fifth Demo Reel Montage, "Push Yourself - Yoga is Good for Mental Health," is now on YouTube. I made this video to celebrate Mental Health Awareness Month. After all, it's all about how, as the title points out, "yoga is good for mental health". Yoga can be a calm, relaxing form of physical exercise. I myself liked to do yoga throughout my early 20s, but I rarely practice it at all again. #bradymarshalldemoreels #bradymarshalldemoreelsmontages #yogaisgoodformentalhealth #mentalhealthawarenessmonth #mentalhealthawareness2024 #pushyourselfdontquityourresultswillamazeyou
