Tip #4: No one said this was easy! 🙉 😜 Today's tip is all about staying on neutral ground. I've decided to unpack this idea below with five every practical ways you can out work this... 1. As a general rule, try not to come into a room looking like the judge and jury who is going to sentence someone to their bedroom. 2. Take a breath and normalise what is going on, because it is so normal!! Everything can wait at least 5 minutes so don't get pushed into anything. 3. When it comes to sibling rivalry, there is often a perceived winner and loser - someone standing tall and someone standing small. The one who wins will feel loved, protected and empowered. The one that lost, won't. Try to protect both children so they each feel heard. 4. Be conscious of where your body is placed during the conversation. Try to physically touch both children as you communicate. 5. You might try saying: "Let's start by listening to each other."
