In 1 minute: Gel Ice packs vs Dry Ice - what are the differences? Gel Ice Packs Pros: 1. Safe: Non-toxic, ideal for food products. 2. Reusable: Cost-effective for frequent use. 3. No Residue: reverts to a gel, no mess. 4. Easy Handling: Requires no special gear. 5. Cooling: Good for items needing to stay cool, not frozen. Cons: 1. Limited Capacity: Not for deep freeze needs. Dry Ice Pros: 1. No Liquid Residue: Sublimates from solid to gas. 2. Extreme Cold: Maintains very low temperatures. Cons: 1. Handling Risks: Can cause burns, needs careful handling. 2. Ventilation Required: Emits CO2 gas. 3. Regulations: Subject to strict shipping rules. 4. Non-reusable: Cannot be reused after sublimation. Conclusion Choose gel ice packs for safer handling and items needing cool temperatures, and dry ice for frozen products and pharmaceuticals despite extra handling challenges.

🚨 WARNING: What’s Really in Our Water? 🚨 I recently found crude in my cat’s drinking bowl (that picture is 5 days of tap water)—straight from the tap water provided by American Water. Despite their claims of "safe, clean, and high-quality water," they have refused to provide any test results backing it up. This company, which serves 14 million people, boasts about awards and accolades, yet has NO research on the potential side effects of the chemical cocktail they add to our water supply. It's alarming to see the complete lack of accountability from the board and executives. They don’t seem to care about the health risks to millions of people. It's time to demand transparency and real action. What are we really drinking? 💧 The stuff is hard and will not come off, what is that doing to our body, minds and soul? And the bubbles????? I switched back to distill water (extra cost) and no bubbles. It is alarming me that 14 million are drinking, showering and cooking with this water.

Carbonated can drinks typically contain dissolved carbon dioxide (CO2) gas, which gives them their fizzy bubbles. When these drinks are opened, the pressure decreases, causing the CO2 to escape from the liquid, resulting in the characteristic fizz. On the other hand, Malta drinks are typically not carbonated, meaning they do not contain dissolved CO2 gas. Malta drinks are often brewed from malted barley, water, hops, and yeast, giving them a distinct flavor profile without carbonation. So, in terms of CO2, carbonated can drinks have CO2 dissolved in them, while Malta drinks do not.

TIP OF THE WEEK: If you are concerned about BPA and limiting your BPA exposure, know that it tends to be highest in condensed soups, canned green beans, and canned tuna. Also it's important to know that recycle codes 3 and 7 indicate items that are more likely to contain high levels of BPA.
