It's an absolute pleasure to see this special issue and our paper come to light. This work is particularly a combination of many areas close to my heart: #ESD #SDGs #collaboration #sustainability #humanities.
Director of the Achievement Academy, American University of Sharjah | High Impact Leadership certificate from the University of Cambridge, Institute for Sustainable Leadership
Seeing this paper published warmed my heart - how fantastic it was to work with a student at the beginning of their higher education journey and then collaborate on authoring a paper together as their under-graduate studies end. Haya Almansoori it was a pleasure for Raja Mallek Bahloul, Mai Zaki and I to work with you. Thanks to our mentors Igor Peraza and Vanessa McCorquodale and, of course, Dr Maria Toro-Troconis.

First semester three way conference done today. Though it wasn't a big deal for this time but I have learnt a lot from here. From my previous experience and self-study I think three way conference is really a great metter of concern for both side means students and teachers. I would like to keep the parents separated from students and teachers as the content is more directly executed by students and teachers. In three way conference, my realization is that first of all it should be done with fair environment from all side. Nothing should kept hidden here, of course things must be presented in technical way from teachers side but not by false content. Secondly, teacher should support the student first. The way student is progressing, how s/he is developing- should be presented infront of the parents. Situation might be like that student and parents are blaming the teacher, that time if teacher technically not opposed them and take their side, it might be easy to handle the situation. This is just my personal thoughts. I am still amateur and learning everyday. Maybe after a year I will say totally different thing regarding this topic. But I strongly believe that honesty is the best policy and technic with good intention always brings positive outcomes. What a nice ending of first week of January! Happy weekend 🙂
