Just had a fabulous time at the US Open with my family—what a difference 12 years can make!
Last time I visited was with my daughter when she was just 4 years old. Now she’s 16, and we got to experience the tournament together, along with the whole family.
The atmosphere was electric, and it was amazing to see how much the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center has evolved.
Here are a few notable changes from the past decade:
Stadium Upgrades: The new Louis Armstrong Stadium and the renovated Arthur Ashe Stadium are stunning. The retractable roofs are a game-changer, allowing play to continue regardless of the weather.
Fan Experience: The interactive fan zones and enhanced amenities have significantly improved the event experience. From tech-driven enhancements to better dining options, it’s clear that the focus is on creating a more engaging environment.
Technology and Coverage: Advances in technology have transformed how we watch and follow the game. From high-definition broadcasts to real-time stats and player tracking, the way we experience tennis has become more immersive and informative.
It was a blast revisiting such a memorable event with my family (even though, all declined to be in my selfie.)
Here’s to many more great moments at the US Open! 🎾
