International Business Development Manager @Almaviva - Executive MBA @LuissBusinessSchool - CEO - Chairman - Board Director - COO - Business Manager - Sales Director - Business Unit Director
Yesterday, I participated in a roundtable moderated by Prof. Luigi Narbone, where we discussed the complex geopolitical dynamics of Africa and its relationships with Italy, Europe, and non-aligned countries that are making significant contributions to the continent. The presentation of Giovanni Faleg's book "L'Africa Geopolitica" sparked an extremely lively debate. In the realm of business development supported by governmental (#PianoMattei) and community (#GlobalGateway) initiatives, these actions help us better understand the countries where our companies will operate in the near future. Africa is a continent in transformation, and today we have the opportunity to support its countries in their economic and social development journey. Our country is preparing to follow this opportunity by assisting our companies in their approach to African countries. The development of #infrastructure, #training, and #innovation driven by artificial intelligence will be crucial drivers in this important development path. Letizia Pizzi, DG of Assafrica & Mediterraneo, Confindustria, in her speech, expressed the readiness of her organization to assist Italian companies with their development projects in Africa. Thanks to Giordano Fatali #CEOforLIFE for organizing and hosting this event at the beautiful headquarters in Piazza Montecitorio. #Africa #PianoMattei #GlobalGetway #InternationalBusiness #Africa #Geopolitics #Innovation #DigitalTransformation #CEOforLIFE

📢 Regional Connectivity in Central Asia and the Caucasus: Key Takeaways from the Caspian Policy Center Forum On September 11, the Caspian Policy Center held a vital discussion on regional connectivity. Dr. Erkin Tukumov of Kazakhstan highlighted the need for economic diversification and regional collaboration, emphasizing shared challenges like climate change and Afghanistan’s instability. Uzbek Ambassador Javlon Vakhabov was optimistic about regional integration, highlighting growing partnerships and the potential of the Middle Corridor. Dr. Farid Shafiyev from Azerbaijan stressed the importance of geopolitics and the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route for the region’s economic future. 📍 The forum touched on significant shifts caused by the Russian-Ukrainian conflict and the strengthening of Central Asian autonomy. As Dr. Eric Rudenshiold noted, cooperation levels are “unimaginable” compared to a decade ago, with greater independence in economic policies and trade growth. Yet, there are still obstacles to overcome in achieving unified regional integration. 🌍 The path forward requires balancing internal priorities and building stronger ties with Europe and South Asia. The evolving regional identity holds promise for the future of Central Asia and the Caucasus. Professor of International Relations and China-Africa Studies Ag. Director of Research and Studies, Nigerian Institute of International Affairs (NIIA)
Had an extensive but awesome meeting today with Her Excellency, Ms. Yan Yuqing, the Consul General of China. A lot of issues were discussed ranging from Africa-China relations, Nigeria-China Relations, the forthcoming Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) this year and on areas of collaboration (research, conferences, roundtables etc.). Indeed, one disposition that keeps resurfacing was the fact that Africa needs to diversify its engagement Internationally. It is important at this epoch that the continent should always gravitate towards countries that will add value within such engagements, with economic growth and development as the main goal. #chinaAfrica #focac #africa #china #development #economicdevelopment

International Business Development Director at Elite Business Women-EU-Middle East w ELITE Business Women
When with Bianca Tudor we took up the challenge to work together for good and long-term relations between women from GCC/Levant and EU countries, almost five years ago, the situation in the world was very difficult. Over the past four years, so much has happened, including the pandemic, the Dubai Expo, the economic crisis, Russia's aggression in Ukraine and the war in the Middle East, which already affects Lebanon and threatens Jordan and is even turning into an Israel-UN conflict, which I hope will not happen. Just as we took action at a very difficult time, this historic meeting in Brussels takes place in difficult times full of uncertainty but also positive events such as the establishment of the European Chamber of Commerce in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia or the activities of the EU-GCC Cooperation on Green Transition. After the Expo in Dubai, a lot has changed and it was a groundbreaking event. To take the next step, we need, above all, funds, programs, projects, cooperation centers, student and scientific exchange, more offices of free economic zones and chambers of commerce. Partnerships between NGOs also play an important role, but resources and long-term projects are needed. The role of the UK is also important in these relations. We still have some time until the Expo in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and now it is worth taking the next steps for good and long-term relations between the EU and GCC countries. This cooperation is also important for countries like Lebanon. Lebanon and Jordan have been important to us from the very beginning in our activities concerning EU-GCC relations. Let us support those activities that promote peace, mutual understanding and cooperation. On this special day I would also like to thank Lucie Berger for the good work for these important relationships. https://lnkd.in/d-p7TsMa
