UNICEF, Climate change is deeply impacting our children’s lives in ways we can't ignore. Rising temperatures are disrupting their education, while droughts and floods are threatening their health and safety. Air pollution is even affecting their development from the start. We must act now to protect their future. Every step we take towards addressing climate change is a step towards safeguarding our children’s well-being. Let’s join forces and push for meaningful action today. Our kids deserve a chance to grow up healthy and hopeful.

UNICEF absolutely agreed. Climate Action is the need of the hour. Although reducing pollution by excessive plantation, reducing carbon emissions using alternate energy resources takes time yet we have to start and keep going on and on. Extra rains also cause flooding in underdeveloped infrastructures. Construction of water reservoirs (big & small) and distributary canals may diminish flooding but require extra ordinary resources. We need more support of UNICEF and international donars for protecting the vulnerable areas affected by climate change.

Climate change significantly impacts child development, affecting every aspect of a child's growth. These challenges often extend into adulthood, preventing children from reaching their full potential. The ripple effects not only hinder the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) but also weaken human capital, ultimately perpetuating the cycle of poverty. #ClimateAction #ActionisNow

We must stand in all capacity to make it better! I consider that if I can feel heat stress to this extent, definitely it’s unbearable for children, especially the most vulnerable babies who can’t even communicate how they are feeling.

Agree. But education is key. I think it's time to consider CLIMATE CHANGE as a subject in the primary, secondary levels. Start them young. Get them ready.
