🚨 New Publication Alert 🚨 Excited to share our latest research paper titled "Enabling value retention in circular ecosystems for the second life of electric vehicle batteries" just published in Resources, Conservation & Recycling Journal. 🌍🔋♻️ Mälardalen University 🔑 Key Takeaways: -We explore how second life applications for electric vehicle (EV) batteries can retain value through reuse and repurposing before recycling. -The ecosystem for EV battery second life is still in its early stages, marked by high complexity and uncertainty. -By applying a complex adaptive systems approach, we uncover the need for collaboration across more than 40 diverse actor types to create sustainable circular ecosystems. This work sheds light on the challenges and opportunities in developing effective circular strategies for EV batteries.
