Get-up, also known as trade dress, refers to the overall appearance and image of a product or business in the marketplace. It encompasses packaging, labeling, design, decor, and other distinctive, nonfunctional features. Examples: Product get-up: The size, shape, color, texture, and graphics. For instance, Coca-Cola's red and white packaging and the unique shape of its bottle. Business get-up: Logos, signage, and decor that create brand identity. An example of a business get-up is McDonald's golden arches.
