Summer is here and everyone is planning their trips to leave the office and see some new sights! As someone who is an anxious traveller, it is my number 1 priority is making sure that I have enough time to get to the airport, through security, find my gate, and so on. This article below is a pretty good representation of what goes through my head and makes it easy for me to keep up with the math in the future. #Travel #TimeManagement #SafeTravels

It has been 5 years since I've flown. Which I am really proud of. It has definitely involved some tough decisions (including missing out on seeing family & friends at times) but flying right now is basically the worst thing for the climate that you can spend your money on. I'm working very hard to change that, though there is a lot more Opportunity Green could do if we had more funding to work on aviation. It is an area of climate that is highly underfunded compared to the damage it causes. It's a really emotive topic because it absolutely is one area where we will have to change our lifestyles if we are to save the coral reefs from disappearing due to changing temperatures. Meanwhile the solutions are not as close as they should be due to a lack of regulation. So if anyone is reading this and is interested in a climate cause that could have a big impact, give to an NGO working on aviation (like Opportunity Green for example!). The blog below sets out how I have managed not to fly for the last 5 years and some thoughts on how you could cut down your flights too. Finally, sorry to say but I will almost certainly be flying this November to COP29 in Azerbaijan! (DM if you'll be there too!) Let me know in the comments, when was the last time you flew?
