LinkedIn's Latest Update: Say Goodbye to Easy In-Group Messages 💔 Ever stumbled upon LinkedIn's little-known feature for reaching out to leads directly? It was like finding gold for both sales professionals and prospecting tools, allowing messages to group members without needing a connection 🤝 However, this loophole couldn't stay under the radar forever. Inspired by Carly Garfield's post, I dove into the current state of this feature, especially after hearing rumors of limitations 🕵️♂️ To my surprise, I discovered that LinkedIn has tightened its grip. Gone are the days of unrestricted access. LinkedIn tip to leverage someone else's audience 🔥 This is how to it in 3 steps: ◉ Step 1 ↳ go to the LinkedIn search bar and write keywords linked to your offer. ↳ keywords like "reply" and "comment" on top of your main keywords are great to find lead magnet posts from other LinkedIn members. ◉ Step 2 ↳ copy the URL of a LinkedIn post you like? ↳ paste that URL to access the post. ◉ Step 3 ↳ export likers and/or commenters as a CSV file with their valid B2B email addresses using Findymail ↳ import the CSV file in your favorite cold emailing software and reach out to them by referencing where you found them (basically be relevant as you know they're interested in the topic of your offer). ----- Question: Have you ever used a technique like this before? You're not going to believe this... We were hacked last week. It has totally sucked. My business partner has spent countless hours trying to get our money back, trying to get our account back, and so far, NOTHING! I'm telling you this for two reasons: #1 - You better be diversified in your lead generation efforts. Though this has been a huge pain in the butt, we are grateful that we've got other ways to communicate to people. Could you imagine if ads were the only way? Would this be true for you? What if social media went away tomorrow? Would you have a way to communicate to your people effectively? Do you have a strategy for growing your email list? Because as long as your people are online, they aren't your people. They are owned by the platform. But once you get them to cross that bridge into your actual database, now you have them. For example, many of you follow me on social media, but are also on my email list. Since social media only shows your content to a very small percentage of your following, many of you may miss my post on social media, but you catch it here. Now, I can truly stay top of mind.
