“We need to work more at the regional level,” Nicholson asserts, “because that’s the scale at which our foodshed, watershed, and economic networks tend to function. And working together regionally makes us stronger in many ways politically, such as advocating for helpful state policy shifts, and pushing back against exploitation by outside interests.” Center for the Advancement of the Steady State Economy https://lnkd.in/g_5C6E3S

2024 has been another busy but impactful year for our Responsible Business agenda! 🙌 Lots of great work has happened to support our colleagues, communities and the environment. With it being made even more impactful with Bethany Dean-Coote joining the team. Also, I can't believe our 3-year strategy finishes in 5 months... where has that time gone? #ResponsibleBusiness #ESG #SocialImpact
As one of the UK’s most trusted and respected law companies, we recognise the importance of conducting our business in a responsible and sustainable way.🌍 That is why in May 2022, Fletchers Group agreed a new three-year responsible business strategy bringing together our community work (Our Community), environmental agenda (Our Environment), and diversity targets (Our People) under one strategy. Our third annual Responsible Business Report will be launching in the new year, but we're so proud of the impact that has been achieved this year, we thought we'd share a preview. #FletchersGroup #ResponsibleBusiness #CSR #ESG #Sustainability Reece Hobson-Adams Bethany Dean-Coote

At AAFA’s Environmental Committee Meeting panel on Financing Decarbonisation—The Supplier Perspective, Noor J. Sadiq, Head of Marketing Communications at Interloop, joined industry peers to discuss self-financing, renewable investments, and a just transition for suppliers. Key takeaways: the need for accessible financing, realistic timelines, and strong partnerships to meet regulatory deadlines. Traceability emerged as a top priority, with Interloop’s Looptrace platform mapping our supply chain and tracking impact data. Interloop is committed to a 51% emissions reduction (Scope 1 & 2) by 2032, scaling operational efficiencies and renewable investments along the way. Thanks to our wonderful hosts Worldwide Responsible Accredited Production (WRAP) and American Apparel & Footwear Association (AAFA) #DecarbonisingTheSupplyChain #ClimateAction #SustainableBusiness #Interloop
