Now that the Las Vegas dust has settled after a fantastic #ASNR24 conference, I wanted to share a few of my takeaways: 1️⃣ #AI is rapidly becoming the standard of care in supporting neuroradiologists, impacting their workflow and adding clinically meaningful data to their reading. 2️⃣ The new CPT III codes 0865T and 0866T are having a major impact on the further adoption of quantitative brain #MRI, as now there is a framework for sustainable usage and implementation of #icobrain. 3️⃣ Thanks to stronger collaborations between radiologists, industry, and the American Society of Neuroradiology, the field is innovating rapidly and can respond to the challenges ahead. A great example was the #ARIA session that included representatives from Eisai US, Eli Lilly and Company, Siemens Healthineers, GE HealthCare, Philips, Cortechs.ai, Combinostics, Darmiyan , Hyperfine, Inc. Viz.ai, and icometrix. The challenges of care coordination and care management in Alzheimer's disease were discussed and solutions are being implemented. 4️⃣ It is so nice to learn while having fun, as our Secret Saboteur session demonstrated. Led by our fantastic Dirk Smeets, world-leading experts Lawrence Tanenbaum, Roy F. Riascos MD, MBA, FACR, Joshua Nickerson MD FACR, Christopher Hancock MD MBA, and Michael Iv read #ARIA cases, but there was one saboteur who was trying to push the panel to a wrong conclusion. Though most people thought it was Roy F. Riascos MD, MBA, FACR, it turned out that Michael Iv was the saboteur. 😎 5️⃣ Finally, a big shout out to Max Wintermark and the #ASNR2024 team for organizing such a wonderful event. We can't wait to join #ASNR25 in Philadelphia.

What am I doing at #rsna2023 ? With imaging becoming top of mind for cardiologist, I took the opportunity to have a conversation with John Jeffrey “Jeff” Carr in our Innovation Theatre about how the partnership between cardiologists and radiologists needs to develop to align around the best patient outcomes. Deploying hub- and spoke models, leveraging Snap Shoot Freeze to do single beat cardiac CT, leveraging Sonic DL to reduce scan times and increase throughput and deploying digital care pathway tools like CardioVisio to understand the entire patient jurney.

The physical limitations associated with age, illness or disability can make positioning for the procedure difficult or uncomfortable.
