To anyone attending Annecy International Film & Animation Festival. Make sure to go and meet Ole Bakker and Remco Sikkema at the Movella Entertainment | Xsens booth (A.25) for a chat. Among other things, ask them why Movella (Xsens) raised prices to export .fbx files by 100% without an announcement and then silently introduced a new offline reprocessing package that will likely replace Motion Cloud in the near future, with a mandatory minimum spending equivalent to a 3 months subscription, making it impossible for individual and independent artists to continue using their suits. Or maybe ask them why they introduced Motion Cloud back in 2021 in the first place, after selling suits and licenses promising to their clients they would be able to independently reprocess data offline, without limitations or constraints, just to take all of that back and introduce new charges. I am sure Ole's smile and slick hairstyle will charm you as much as it charmed hundreds of customers when they decided to trust Movella over their competitors.
