Fighting Breast Cancer - First week of running challenge The first week is done—I am on my way to the 150-kilometre charity run. (I will donate money to a breast cancer-fighting organization for each kilometre run.) I managed almost 30k, so it was slightly under the planned amount. Running is a pleasurable and really relaxing activity. But suddenly, the obligation shifts my “me-time” towards an obligation. I started preparing and planning and am proud to have accomplished the kilometres this week. After a week of work, I managed my three runs and added several kilometres of walking whenever possible. Every step counts, and I will not stop. But how do you manage? All of you who decided to accept the challenge and move and run to collect money in October - the official breast cancer-fighting month. Did you manage to cover the distance you planned? What were the difficulties? The challenges? What are your plans for the next week? Please reach out to me here in commentaries! #breastcancerfight #runningforcharity #personalchallenge

Can you help us with $98? CAR-T cell therapy is saving lives…
We're cheering for the Edmonton Oilers as they enter the playoffs, but it's important to remember this wouldn't have happened without Cal Nichols. Cal stepped in to rescue the Oilers not once but twice, first in 1996 and again in 1998. To celebrate Cal, we’re seeking one-time donations of $98, symbolizing the year Cal Nichols led the acquisition of the Oilers (1998) and played a pivotal role in keeping them in Edmonton. By contributing, you not only honour Cal’s legacy but also support a great cause. Your generous donation will directly impact the construction of two new state-of-the-art labs, which will advance immunotherapy research and treatment in Alberta. This will dramatically bring down the cost of CAR T Cell treatments, giving cancer patients a new way to fight off the disease. Your charitable tax receipt is issued by the Alberta Cancer Foundation, as the campaign partner of the Cure Cancer Foundation. Very powerful video and story. Can see why this was your inspo Noah (Jonno McCartney). Well done. https://lnkd.in/gPv_NnMm
High performance trade solutions providing quality service to the | Aged Care | Corporate | Commercial | Residential | sectors.
*****CLICK THE LINK BELOW TO CHECK THE MULLET AND DONATE***** G’day LinkedIn land Hope your all thriving and basking in the final good weather this side of winter 🥶 My son Noah has a mullet that currently sits at 27cm in length and he has decided to after 3 years he’s had enough. We’re always looking for an opportunity for my boys to learn empathy we decided that we would donate his hair to someone. Resaerching away, Alopecia Australia came up in the search and we’re like mint… lets do that but under the search it had the worlds greatest shave further investigation was a must. We clicked on the link and said lets do that mate and raise some money for humans that really need it to help others. What an opportunity to create core memories around doing things in the service of others which can demonstrate the joy and fulfilment he can and will receive. Noah was quite hesitant around the idea so we watched YouTube videos of others raising funds for the Leukaemia foundation. In one video a beautiful year 12 student told her principal that she would raise $20k for the Worlds greatest shave!!! The Principals response was if you raise $20k I’ll shave mine with you. The young Lady raised $28K and watching the bond over having their heads shaved was incredible. https://lnkd.in/gPv_NnMm The power of video, Noah's apprehension and fear had been shifted, he was of to the races!! He has Now raised $3k in 2 weeks with the May 7th deadline approaching fast… If you can please donate through link attached and if money is tight currently which it is for most Australians words of encouragement and support go a long way for a 10 year old Big Love and thanks to you all Jonno #worldsgreatestshave #cancer #donate #empathy #love #charity #bloodcancer 😁

NEW CASE STUDY: Updated Donation Forms! Many organizations face the challenge of outdated, unresponsive, or poorly designed donation forms that hinder their fundraising efforts. Montreal Heart Institute saw a remarkable 25.5% increase in average donation size after switching from a single-column to our multi-step donation form. Rady Children's Hospital-San Diego achieved a 56.5% increase in average gift size. An updated design, fully integrated with their new branding, played a crucial role in this improvement, demonstrating the power of a well-designed and branded donation form. Ovarian Cancer Canada saw immediate results, with more than double the number of transactions (a 118% increase). The average gift size increased by 14.5%, and in just over seven months, the new form raised 150% more than the previous form did over nine months. The combination of a beautiful rebrand and our modern, accessible form design was one of the factors to this success. Is it time to take a closer look at your donation forms?
