United Nations, Jane Goodall's dedication to safeguarding our natural world for over six decades is truly inspiring. Her pioneering work with the Jane Goodall Institute in Africa, where she began studying chimpanzees in 1960, showcases her relentless commitment to conservation and sustainable development. As we celebrate World Chimpanzee Day, let's reflect on her profound impact and express our gratitude for her tireless efforts. Jane Goodall's journey reminds us that each individual can make a difference in protecting our planet's biodiversity. Join us in honoring her legacy and continuing to support initiatives that promote harmony between humans and wildlife.

Protecting our natural world and all its inhabitants is of paramount importance. This is a great opportunity to thank the pioneer, we must take bold, comprehensive action to safeguard ecosystems, habitats, and biodiversity. This requires innovative, multifaceted approaches that balance conservation and sustainable development. We need to invest in cutting-edge research, adaptive management strategies, and collaborative programs that engage local communities. Renewable energy, regenerative agriculture, and ecotourism are just a few examples of sustainable development initiatives that can benefit both people and planet. By valuing nature's intrinsic worth and its vital role in supporting human wellbeing, we can create a more harmonious and resilient future for all life on Earth. The Jane Goodall institute has a system we can learn from and adept it to our local communities for betterment.

United Nations Secretary-General Kofi Annan appointed Jane Goodall as a UN Messenger of Peace in 2002. Annan appointed a number of prominent people as Messengers of Peace who could help focus global attention on the UN’s work.
