🌟 Scholarship Spotlight: Ritika Tejwani 🌟 Ritika Tejwani, the recipient of the GeoFuturesSTL Scholarship, is an undergraduate at Washington University in St. Louis, pursuing a joint major in Business and Computer Science with a minor in Biomedical Data Science. Her interest in geospatial intelligence grew while working with an R&D scientist at National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency, where she used spectral graph theory to analyze large-scale datasets. Ritika's work in network analysis and activity-based intelligence explores the spatiotemporal factors behind national security threats. "I am extremely grateful to be awarded the GeoFutures STL Scholarship. It is an incredible honor, and I am thrilled about the opportunity to be part of the USGIF community, where I can expand my network, mentorship, and GIS education. This scholarship will fund my senior year and support my academic and professional growth in the field. 🌟 Scholarship Spotlight: Khris Gonzalez Pebe 🌟 Khris Gonzalez Pebe, the recipient of the Black Cape Scholarship for Women in Geospatial Intelligence, is a junior at the University of Southern California, pursuing a BSc in Public Policy (Data Analytics concentration) and an MSc in Human Security and Geospatial Intelligence. As an Intelligence Analyst Intern at USCENTCOM, Khris tracks illicit trades and geopolitical dynamics. She also promotes GIS solutions for humanitarian efforts through her roles as a Fellow at RFK Human Rights, a Research Fellow at Accountability Counsel, and Director of Humanitarian Service for USC's Foreign Service Society. "Winning the USGIF Scholarship, funded by Black Cape, is a tremendous honor. I extend my gratitude to USGIF for this opportunity and to my USC professors for their guidance.
