Each practice session brings you closer to mastering the language and boosts your confidence. Use this opportunity to immerse yourself in the Deaf community and keep pushing your limits. Your dedication to improving your skills is what will make you an excellent CSW. ➞ Your fear of not being good enough is your catalyst, not your excuse. This pushes you to connect online, join forums, attend virtual events, and create your own network of like-minded individuals who can support and inspire you. ➞ Your full-time job is your catalyst, not your excuse. Balancing work and study shows your commitment. Every spare moment you dedicate to learning is an investment in your future career. ➞ The slow progress in your learning journey is your catalyst, not your excuse. Progress, no matter how slow, is still progress. Each small step you take is building the foundation for your future as a CSW. ➞ Your age is your catalyst, not your excuse. Whether you’re just starting out or looking for a career change, your age gives you unique life experiences and perspectives that will enrich your work as a CSW. Use these challenges to propel yourself forward! You have the power to transform these challenges into stepping stones towards your goal of becoming a professional CSW. Lucia Jobe has successfully completed the EF Standard English Test (EF SET) certificate and has earned the level: https://lnkd.in/dPNxJyam The achieved level is 76/100 on the EF SET score scale and C2 Proficient according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR). The EF SET score is calculated as an average of the skill section scores.

The English Functional Skills requirements are challenging in their assessment expectations but are an essential alternative to GCSEs and need to be positively embraced.
