If you are in real estate in Central Ohio there was a lot to celebrate this week: 1) A globally recognized manufacturing project, receiving federal support & securing a major new partnership, which brought renewed confidence to a generational opportunity. 2) A leading global employer declaring that culture is not a birthright- its something that need to be worked at & that the office plays a part in strengthening a company’s culture. 3)The Fed cutting it’s rate by half a point-calming some of the major headwinds facing developers & creating momentum to get back to building. And last but not least- the opening of Butcher & Rose for lunch service-which based on today’s attendance will be one of THE spot for a “downtown power lunch”. The future is bright!

Congratulations Rachel McLellan for the honor of Hiver of the Quarter in Q3! Rachel helps lead the everyday operations of our labor management division, Lime I&D. Her experience and attention to detail, making sure nothing is missed in the install and dismantle process for our clients exhibits, is second-to-none. We’re thankful everyday that Rachel is here looking after Lime’s labor operations. Thank you Rachel for all you do to help keep Lime and BlueHive going strong! Q: How long have you worked at BlueHive? A: 3 years Q: What is your position / title? A: Director of Labor Operations for LIME I&D Q: Do you have a nickname? A: RachieKia – my neighbor gave me the nickname after I bought my first car in high school (a Kia Optima) and it stuck. Q: How did you get started working in the industry? A: I had completed my degree in Elementary Education but wanted to go a different route than teaching. I was looking for a career where I could utilize my years of experience and love for the customer service industry and happened upon a position as a Customer Service Rep for Nth Degree in Boston. I had no idea what a trade show was going into it, but I immediately fell in love with the fast-paced, something new every day environment that was ultimately all about client interaction. 8 years later I am still loving what I do even though my role has changed over time. Q: Favorite thing to do when not at work? A: Spending time with family & friends and reading a good book Q: Favorite sports team(s)? A: Michigan Wolverines Q: Favorite holiday and why? A: Christmas because I love the Christmas spirit and the family traditions Q: If you could have one superpower what would it be? A: To fly Q: Flash forward ten years: Where are you and what are you doing? A: On our farm watching my children grow up too fast and working in an industry that I love Q: What was your favorite childhood toy/game? A: Flashlight tag

Today is Robin's 17th birthday! 🎂 At Robin, we believe in sticking to our values every day. To celebrate, I asked my amazing team one question: What's one word that describes working at Robin? 🤔 The big answer? "Freedom." 🕊️ But what does having freedom and working remotely really mean? It's not just about being flexible, it's about having control and trust. It's the freedom to pick your hours, plan your day your way, and be there for your family when they need you, like looking after sick kids during the day and working later. Working remotely also means less stress. No more getting stuck in traffic or rushing to reach the office on time. Instead, we get to start our day calmly at home, which helps us focus better and get more done. With nearly 8 years of experience here, I've seen firsthand how remote work lets us mix our personal and work lives smoothly, so we can do well in both areas. I joined our “OG” Chicago branch in 2017 when I was just a little 21-year-old baby looking for a place to settle! I started out as a Start Tech and worked my way up to a Reg Tech, Field Manager, Service Manager, Operations Manager, and now a General Manager of the Chicago North Branch! 🎉 🔹 What is your favorite part of your job? Everyone thinks it’s cheesy when managers or employers say this, but it truly is the people I work for. 🛡️💙 I love coming in each day with the goal to genuinely help my employees. I pride myself on creating as diverse and inclusive atmosphere as possible at my branch and our employees truly feel it! 🔹 What's one thing you would tell someone who was thinking about working at EcoShield? Do it. Even if you have some doubts, push those away and just do it. 💪 🔹 If you could pick just one, what would your "spirit bug" be? Hmmm. I would have to choose a honey bee! 🐝 I am super docile and just want to do my job all day every day! I won’t sting, as long as you don’t come after me or my people. 😜 🔹 Who would win in a fight: you or a Tarantula Hawk Spider Wasp? Pshhh it only sounds scary. Just give me a 25-foot pole and I’ll knock their nest right down no sweat. 😅 Maybe give me a bee suit first... or at least a can of wasp freeze. 😂 🔹 What's your secret talent/a fun fact about you? I have an identical twin sister! We are both managers in pest control. 🐜🚫 Not only is it rare to have women in pest control, but two identical twins is crazy! To be a fly one the wall at our family gatherings... it’s quite entertaining so I’ve been told. I guess it runs in the family! 👯 🔹 What is one word you would use to describe EcoShield? Life-Changing. 🙌
