Within this celebration, the conference will host a series of Regional Forums representing the African continent. Our Q3 2023 Private Capital Activity in Africa report showed #NorthAfrica held a 19% share of #PrivateCapital Deals in Africa and ran in the middle of the pack for VC deals throughout the year to date. Last year, we held the Annual AVCA Conference & VC Summit in #Cairo: Our 2023 AVCA Country Spotlight showed that US$877mn was invested in 76 deals in Egypt in 2022, a double historical record, with financials being the most active sector by volume (26%) and deal value (23%).
