SFX takes Time ⌛ On set, one of the main questions I get asked is 'How long will it take?' The answer depends on a few factors: 1. What do you want done? 2. What products would be best suited? 3. How much time can I be given (in the situation I'm on set and something is now being decided). Adding grey hair can be done in different ways, one method taking a few minutes, the other starting at a solid hour. A bald cap application, definitely more than an hour. The best way to prepare the timeline, is to have a clear idea of what you want done to the actor/actress prior to filming. Have you seen #Blindspot?
