I’ve had the privilege of attending each of United Way’s regional conferences this year, culminating in last week's Western Regional Conference in Las Vegas, Nevada. I will never take for granted the opportunity to see so many colleagues in person and hear directly about the transformational work United Way is facilitating in communities across the United States. The resounding theme? We are a vast, connected network of problem solvers. Not only is our depth of knowledge immense and unequal in scope, but the work we do requires a unique dedication and perseverance. Every day, our staff and volunteers break down barriers to respond to complex issues, recognizing that a rising tide lifts all boats. Ultimately, our ability to solve for “X” in the equation of building resilient communities will be instrumental in moving us into the future. #liveunitedwest
