If you want to be part of an industry that's changing the world, I want to meet you, interview you and - yes - probably hire you. For those of my network who don't know.. I'm the CEO of an electric aviation company with a single mission: To ELIMINATE aviation emissions forever. I founded Dovetail Electric Aviation in 2021 after a long career of working in conventional aviation. I saw the damage we were doing to our skies. I saw the urgent need to change the way we were operating. I saw the sheer level of unsustainable practices creating the "writing on the wall" for air transport. I no longer wanted to be a part of that. So my team and I created what we believe is shaping the future of our skies, starting small, but moving fast and planning to grow big. And we need people to join us in that mission. We help commercial operators slash their costs and maximise their efficiency through installing 100% electric propulsion systems into their aircraft. So.. If you're an engineer looking for a challenge, If you're a businessperson looking to do good, If you're looking to be a part of shifting commercial aviation from a polluter into the greenest industry it can be, I want to hear from you. Comment below, send me a DM or shoot me an email. Let's change the world, one operator at a time.

Why would a 30-person company buy a private airplane? Well, there are a few good reasons: First of all, the world is changing: --> Aviation is getting more accessible. The nature of business is evolving rapidly. --> JSE is always committed to forward-thinking solutions. This is one of them. Second, it's not all costs: --> We save 100s of hours a year on site visits. Less hotels. Less time driving. More time engineering. Third, we can be quick on our feet: --> If something urgent comes up on a job site, we can get anywhere in NY within the hour In terms of strategy, there are a lot of ways to grow a company. For us, this way makes a lot of sense. PS: A major shoutout to our awesome Chief Pilot, Eric Shaw for making flight safe and easy for all of us!

Last month, Boeing unveiled its plans to invest in several Québec enterprises, highlighted by a $110 million CAD anchor investment in an Aerospace Development Centre within the new Espace Aéro Innovation Zone. The company is also investing $95 million in Wisk’s Montreal-based engineering centre, which works to further develop and advance its autonomous, electric, 4-passenger eVTOL air taxi. Totalling the entire $240 million CAD investment, Boeing set aside $35 million in collaboration with Héroux-Devtek to work in Espace Aéro on advanced landing gear research. Based in Québec, the new Espace Aéro aims to promote collaboration and advance sustainable aerospace in Canada. In line with these goals, Boeing is exploring additional projects for the zone, particularly those emphasising decarbonisation and autonomy. Currently, Boeing’s investments in Québec make up over $2 billion in P-8 contracts with Canadian companies, contributing of course to employment rates and economic growth. An independent study by Doyletech Corporation estimates that this purchase will generate nearly 3,000 jobs and $358 million annually in economic output for the country.
