200+ artists call on tech companies to stop AI use that devalues music and infringes upon the rights of human artists. AI has enormous potential as a tool for human creativity – but when used irresponsibly, it poses an existential threat to our art. https://lnkd.in/eUv7dqmX
I wholeheartedly agree with the statement emphasizing the need to stop the use of artificial intelligence that devalues music and violates the rights of human artists. Artificial intelligence represents a powerful tool for human creativity, but when used irresponsibly, it poses an existential threat to our art. However, it's important to note that I haven't seen a similar level of opposition to other technologies that have transformed the music landscape, such as the ability to self-produce from home, without any musician needed. In Italy, for example, studio work has become increasingly rare, with many people opting to utilize home recording and production technologies. While technology has made music creation more accessible and convenient for many, this shouldn't mean a decrease in the value of art or a replacement of human artists. We’ve been losing the essence of authenticity, but a long time before AI came.
It’s very odd to me how my dear musicians can come together on this issue, one I agree with, but musicians don’t pull together against damn streaming….. which is sucking the very life out of the entire music industry!!!
Stiamo Attenti all’uso della tecnologia, solo noi possiamo fare la differenza nel modo in cui la utilizziamo.. non è (lei) il problema, siamo noi..
Here’s a banging banger hope You like it too 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Good luck...There is no stopping this. If you want a great case file for reference look up how the Napster Lawsuit ended up.

6moIt would be so repulsively weird to see AI or Robot doing a live performance before hundreds of thousands of humans and yet another human initiator is getter secretly paid for it.
