On July 1, alumna Dr. Sharon Inouye, MD, MPH ’89, became Editor in Chief of JAMA Internal Medicine. She is also a physician, teacher, researcher, Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School, and the Milton and Shirley F. Levy Family Chair and Director of the Aging Brain Center at the Marcus Institute for Aging Research. Her advice to current students: "When you are choosing your area to work on, choose it based on what matters to you. That is the ONLY barometer that counts."
