A Great Case Study for Nonprofit Administration: Every Child Succeeds embodies and is emblematic of the challenges that nonprofits face. Even though we began with adequate funding, excellent community and business support and a strong scientific case for our mission, we still encountered roadblocks that ultimately did not allow us to grow to serve the well documented needs of our community. These barriers are not unique to ECS and our activities have been carefully documented, creating not only a description of what happened but also guidance for other organizations---including the roadblocks and essential questions to guide decision making. #ChasingSuccess #NonprofitManagement

In 2019, we completed a business plan for a small $1.5m human services nonprofit. With our cheerleading and support, they projected ambitious growth to $3.9m by 2023. Their actuals? $4.2m. They hit it with 6% accuracy. This is repeatable for nonprofits of any mission. We've done it dozens and dozens of of times. Small to mid-sized nonprofit with courageous leadership can plan - and achieve - their most ambitious dreams of impact. PS This is NOT about the money. It's what this org DOES with the money.
