"May we read this chapter and consider the themes of forgiveness, redemption, and the transformative power of grace. We can relate these to our own lives and reflect on how God has intervened and brought about positive outcomes in our family matters, relationships, and activities when the circumstances seemed irreconcilable and antagonistic." #aweekinthelife ° ° ° Click here to read more: https://lnkd.in/eerJYpvG

LOOK FORWARD Let your eyes look straight ahead; fix your gaze directly before you.” (Proverbs 4:25, NIV) The Bible tells us to look straight ahead. If you are constantly dwelling on your past, wondering “what if,” then you will stay right where you are. But if you choose to release the past through forgiveness, then you can focus on what is ahead of you.

Sirav Talwar shares a powerful reflection on the strength that comes from holding on to life's toughest lessons and the boundaries we set to protect ourselves. Read more about how pain can be a source of clarity and resilience.
Reflection #7: The Power in Not Letting Go We’re often told that forgiveness is the path to freedom, but sometimes, holding on to the hurt is what gives us clarity and strength. There are moments in life where the pain is too deep, too real to simply let go. And that’s okay. Refusing to forgive doesn’t make us weak; it reminds us of the boundaries we set, the respect we demand, and the justice we deserve. It’s about standing firm and recognizing that not everything should be forgiven or forgotten. Holding on can be our way of honoring the strength it took to survive, of making sure the lessons learned aren’t dismissed or diminished. It’s not about staying trapped in the past—it’s about drawing power from that pain, knowing that some things are worth remembering, because they shaped us into who we are today. There’s strength in not letting go when it’s what keeps us true to ourselves. #Reflection #StrengthInPain #PowerInBoundaries #LessonsLearned
