As my chapter at Firstup draws to a close, I've spent some time reflecting on what I've learned/had reinforced over the past three years. Among the key takeaways: - The absolute importance of a growth mindset for adaptability, resilience and peak performance - Among people, process and technology, it's always the people that come first - and make all the rest of it worth doing - When you don't always believe in yourself, believe in the self you see reflected in others; sometimes the truth is easier to see through the eyes of those around you - You can love your job AND it can be time to move on to something new I'll be forever grateful to my amazing colleagues at Firstup (far too many to tag!). Thank you Donna and Angela for an amazing week and for being patient with all my questions! 2. Catching up with familiar clients and meeting new startups injected a fresh energy into the program. Exciting times ahead! 3. Sat down with an entrepreneur working on a class 2 medical device. Impressive innovation and a reminder of the cool things happening in this space. 4. Stepping into an incubator that's firing on all cylinders. It's clear the gears are well-oiled, making for a streamlined operation. 5.
