Love this idea of finding ways to rest that are still stimulating. I have tried hard in the past few years to try and rest in the more traditional ways, e.g. watching a film without doing anything else, but just find it impossible. This has made me rethink what rest means to me.
Learning how to relax was a big one for me. I taught myself to paint and my relaxation is creating artwork. It took a LONG time to find the thing I’d stick with though! My ‘hobby graveyard’ is expansive!!! If you’ve not found your thing yet, keep looking ❤️
An "In" for me would be to set realistic goals with steps/structure on how to achieve them 🙂
An 'In' for me was learning and sharing with my family the concept of 'now/ not now'
I had no idea that there may be a science to why I get more done with my shoes on. My runners are hugging my feet nicely and I'm feeling productive this morning!
Not sleeping for fear of persecution
Adding in cold therapy! Great endorphin hit with a little baseline hit of dopamine. Kicking out the “shame” of being passionate about social justice issues
