Since its election time in the UK in a week, I'm going to allow myself one post on politics and one only :) This is a great article on what the government did wrong over the last 14 years. To sum it up: one false economy after another, making "savings" that have ended up breaking things and being extremely costly. This is reflected in water of course - cuts to the Environment Agency have hampered water pollution monitoring and enforcement, while the effective halt in building of reservoirs since 1989 has fed into a growing water supply crunch in some areas. https://lnkd.in/eWW4WmEZ.

Yesterday, we went to the Houses of Parliament to represent people across the UK, calling for better for rivers and seas. Water today is a finite resource. How we treat wastewater is an issue we can't ignore.
