😊 This year, Miquel Àngel Julià Hiero, Concept Architect, our Design and Marketing Director, has participated in the trend report "The New Habitat 25/26", as an expert in RETAIL, HOSPITALITY and WORKPLACE. After a first presentation session at ELISAVA Madrid, on June 19th we enjoyed the presentation of the report detailing the new trends in WORKPLACE at the Bernadí Hub in Barcelona. It has also been presented in Bilbao and the sessions will be repeated in the main cities. In Barcelona, with an initial explanation by Pepa Casado D'Amato and Lucía Marín Forés, we were able to gain more insights into the report and its key aspects. We were then able to enjoy a round table discussion with several of the participants who helped create the report. The table was moderated by Miquel Àngel and formed by Beatriz de Latorre Caballero de Rodas from Savills, Óscar Blasco from scob, Maria Comas Giménez from batlleiroig and Pablo Garrido Torres from b720 Fermin Vazquez Arquitectos. Not forgetting to mention Arantxa Bernadí Ros from BERNADI and Mar Gómez-Luengo Bermejillo from Tétris who also participated in the creation of the report. 👍 Many significant issues were addressed, concluding that the workspace is something that we also inhabit and that the transformation in its design reflects an evolution towards spaces that help to create community and collaborate with others. In the words of Miquel Àngel Julià Hierro: "The coworking concept entered Spain as an economic solution for renting space, initially seen as 'sharing a table'. Today it has evolved towards collaboration and co-creation of projects. It is a cultural question to determine which coworking approach best suits each user: working alone in an office or sharing space with other companies and people from other disciplines? Inspired by the functional and adaptable use of storage containers at Kraftwerk Zürich, our design concept introduces movable workspaces that offer unprecedented flexibility. This allows the community to reshape the environment as needed, seamlessly transitioning from individual workspaces to expansive event areas. The Net Positive is envisioned as a multipurpose hub, where the lines between professional and creative pursuits blur into a cohesive community experience. From conference spaces that spark dialogue and idea exchange to artisan laboratories that nurture creativity, every aspect is crafted to support and inspire. Add to this the vibrant mix of artisan’s spaces, NGO offices, pastry labs, sports facilities, and food areas, and you have a dynamic venue that caters to a broad spectrum of needs and interests. At the heart of The Net Positive lies the profound value of co-working spaces. These environments are more than just shared offices; they are the breeding ground for a community of like-minded individuals who thrive on mutual inspiration and collaboration. It's about creating a space where diverse talents and perspectives converge, leading to innovation and growth that extends beyond the confines of the physical space. As a founder, I highly value the important role a conducive work environment plays in fostering creativity & productivity. This is especially important for portance where we ideate & design tech-driven, highly functional but yet sophisticated sportswear for y/our better future. Initially, I was headed towards Management and Marketing. However, the desire to have the title "MSc Eng. Architect" prevailed. Studies at Poznań University of Technology were challenging but with wonderful people. The first job in Warsaw, at one of the larger studios - after two weeks, I realized how little I knew. But there was a great team and designers eager to learn. That's where my adventure with designing offices began. At PRC, I designed the Liberty Corner office building. Offices became my calling. I gained experience and formed friendships. Life brings changes. It was time for a revolution. Working for the Von der Heyden Group, the world of designing offices completely absorbed me. Embassies, the first call center in Poland, German corporations - thousands of square meters passed through my hands. Under the immense American investment fund, placing offices in Andersia Tower in Poznań, I surrendered. Too much for one person. Where to find salvation? Among old friends. I've been working with Gosia since 2006. Andersia Tower, Racławicka Point, Eurocentrum Office Complex, Royal Wilanów - a journey full of crises. We built the company for years, but now our brilliant team is achieving successes at BSDIGN. Projects in Eurocentrum, Szucha Premium Offices, Pixel, Skalar, Giant, Bałtyk, Norblin Factory - dozens of offices in Warsaw and Poznań. Known and appreciated clients, and most importantly - satisfied. Now we had to face a new fact - we are entrepreneurs, not just specialists. Now our job is to manage the company. We're heading in the right direction, despite a massive lesson to be learned. Nothing is impossible because we share common values. And will I still design? Architecturally, probably not. But every day, I design the success of our company. I'm a boss who delights in the team's successful projects. While visiting the educational campus of Energie Steiermark AG during our #woodconstruction #studytour a few weeks ago, we experienced from up close how entwined structural design and recruiting potential can be.   Another timber construction aiming for top international talents is the legero united campus. The shoe company´s head office did not only win multiple awards but is smart in many ways. “The fashion business is fast moving.
