Such a brave campaign from Urban Company. 👏 ✅️ The film unpacks the prevailing stigma associated with massage therapists, advocating for the recognition of women's labor with dignity. It resonates deeply with all working women, whose success is often credited to everything but their hard work and expertise. ➡️ It’s not the first time a brand has made an ad film attempting to break stereotypes and initiate a discourse on woman empowerment. But what I really like about this film is that instead of the woman just standing up for herself, she addresses the issue directly with the younger brother. Because it’s not just about empowering women; it's also about nurturing young boys who grow into men who respect and advocate for gender equality.🏆 A masterfully executed film, delivering a powerful message. Kudos to the brand team and agency. 🙌

As we celebrate #InternationalWomensDay2024 under the auspices of the United Nations with the theme "Invest in Women: Accelerate Progress," the #ACS reaffirms its commitment to gender equality and women's empowerment and also to honour the great women of the #GreaterCaribbean. This year, we focus on pivotal areas that demand our collective action and investment in women, recognizing that it is not only a matter of human rights but also a foundational step towards a prosperous, equitable, and sustainable future for all. This International Women's Day, let us come together to transform challenges into opportunities. By investing in women, we are not just supporting half of the population; we are nurturing the foundation of a just, inclusive, and thriving society. Let's pledge to accelerate progress, end poverty, implement gender-responsive financing, support the shift to a green economy and a care society, and, most importantly, amplify the voices and impact of feminist change-makers. Together, we can and will build a brighter future for all.

Today is #InternationalWomensDay! It’s a time to celebrate women, acknowledge the amazing contributions they make to our world, and recommit ourselves to finding new ways to address inequality and lift women up. As a female leader I am incredibly proud to work at a company like Grünenthal, which is fully committed to striving for gender equality in all that we do. From investing in women across our organisation, to encouraging open conversations about how we can do better; together we are creating an organisation that champions women. As a leader in pain management, we are also acutely aware that there are significant differences when it comes to the experience and treatment of pain for men and women. Therefore, it is our ongoing mission to look for new ways that we can strive for equality in pain management and ensure that women receive the care they deserve. If you are interested in learning more about global inequalities in pain treatment and how future research can address this more effectively, I encourage you to read the IASP fact sheet: https://lnkd.in/e5wX6keA #WorldFreeofPain #WomensInScience #WeAreGrünenthal

Today is International Women’s Day, a day to celebrate the achievements of women across the world and raise awareness about the challenges they face. Currently, women are still suffering from inequality in many areas including the workplace. Women continue to be underrepresented in high-level management roles and many aren't given access to equal pay. In the construction industry alone, women suffer from the same issues. With fewer than 12% of women in the industry working in a leadership position. It's on days like International Women's Day and beyond, that we need to collectively support the drive for gender equality. Progress for women, means progress for all. #IWD2024 #WomenInConstructionWeek #InvestInWomen

Happy International Women’s Day 🥳 Today, is an important day for CARE as an organisation committed to gender equality in all that we do. This year’s global theme set by UN Women; “Invest in Women: Accelerate Progress”, particularly correlates to our work in Timor-Leste and across the CARE confederation. As an organisation, we recognise that we will not be able to achieve sustainable development unless we achieve equality for all members of society, particularly the most vulnerable members of society, such as women. With this in mind, we dedicate to invest in empowering women in all of our projects to influence positive change in all aspects of their lives, beginning from their home, their community and the society in which they live. With our experience, we know that investing in women has enabled them to lift families and communities out of poverty. As we reflect on the significance of this year's theme, CARE urges decision-makers to increase investments for women at all levels of society in order to support them reach their full potential. #IWD2024 #InternationalWomensDay #InvestInWomen #CARETeam #CAREImpact

Embracing women is the act of recognizing, respecting, and valuing the contributions of women in society. Embracing Women seeks to empower and uplift women by providing them with resources, support, and a platform to share their stories. It is a global initiative that works to create a more equitable and inclusive world for women by advocating for gender equality, promoting economic opportunities, and providing access to education and healthcare. Also, it works to create a safe space for women to express themselves and to build a community of support and solidarity. This survey seeks to investigate the extent to which women are involved in your community. Let us here your voice. https://lnkd.in/drRcMZ2v

Happy International Women’s Day ✨ Today is not only a day to celebrate the achievements of women globally. It is an important reminder that no matter how far we’ve come there is still so much more work to be done. 🚺 Women still earn an average of 16% less than men 🚺 Female founders still only receive 2% of VC funding in the UK 🚺 Women still make up a small % of C-Suite positions globally 🚺 We still don’t invest enough in women’s healthcare research Advocating for gender equality is not just a job for women. Only together can we make a more inclusive world. We must all call out biases in ourselves and others, raise awareness of discrimination and celebrate women’s achievements not just today but everyday. "The story of women's struggle for equality belongs to no single feminist nor to any one organization but to the collective efforts of all who care about human rights.” Gloria Steinem #iwd2024 #inspireinclusion
