How can each of us learn from and honor Martin Luther King Jr. legacy? ✊🏿 Harnessing the power of silent opposition. A confrontational act. An act of peace. An act of war. ✊🏾 Channelling the strength (and mental fortitude) to fight the societal script/'narrative', and not be defined by the 'isms. ✊🏽 Envisioning a life that is beyond our eyes. That is what it means to embody MLK's legacy. It is taking action to defend social justice and generate an intentional movement forward. It is passing on love, truth, and a better tomorrow to the next generation. It is moving towards a vision for the future beyond our physical reality, where empowerment, freedom, and equality exist - and holding space for that reality NOW.
