As an agency recruiter, placing a candidate in crypto, in a role they love, is a great feeling and sure - getting paid for it is amazing too. BUT, there is no better feeling than placing a friend in their next role in the space. Being able to support someone in return who has meme'd with you, laughed with you, supported you and won/loss with you during the bear market means everything. I was lucky enough to do it a few times throughout the course of the year and twice in the last month of 2023 - one person a 1st institutional sales hire & the other a CMO, joining initially as an advisor.
