Not easy in real life, in fact a good observer can deduct if the high authority is coming from a Production, Engineering, Maintencance, or Finance career; frequently decisions are biased that way. The true is that aligning the efforts to the Strategy can mean a favorable big difference. The big challenge: How to detect efforts are not well aligned? Some big companies try to minimize that bias by rolling the leaders in different areas. But what about the majority of companies? Is try and error the only option?
