👷 We at Uponor champion the International Labour Organization's World Day for Safety and Health at Work. ✅ Employee safety and wellbeing are of particular importance to us. We emphasize a proactive top-down, bottom-up approach to safety on all levels of our organization and actively find ways to improve our safety practices to reach our zero-accident ambition. Additionally, our global safety network meets regularly to align on safety processes and share best practices. We also raise awareness around health and safety at work with regular information campaigns, implement state-of-the-art safety tools, and train our workforce. With these measures, we managed to halve the lost time due to accidents in 2023. This year, we continue our focus on safety. 🏆 An example of our proactive approach to safety: With the active use of a user-friendly safety reporting tool and the can-do attitude of our employees, we have seen a significant increase in employee-driven improvements in production. What is more, new tools and guidelines are shared with other manufacturing sites—for the safety and health of all of us. #Safety #Wellbeing #SafeDay2024

Today is World Day for Health and Safety at Work. One year ago, we launched #SafetyOnBoard – our project to get all our workers involved in enhancing workplace safety, raising their awareness and informing them about the importance of their active participation. One year later, we are renewing our commitment and we fiercely affirm that our goal of bringing a #ZeroAccidents future on board is getting closer and closer. In only one year, we have achieved great things. But we will not stop until we eliminate accidents in our shipyards.
