“My name is Ashlie-Marie Paulin, and I’m a Customer Relations Supervisor for UPS Healthcare. And this is my son Booker, who was born with an undiagnosed congenital heart disease. He quickly went into complete organ failure, and was put on life support to give his organs a chance to rest and hopefully prevent brain damage. I lived on a 2-inch mattress in the hospital for the next 74 days, and never missed rounds. I couldn’t help noticing and appreciating all the items in the room that I knew had been shipped by our UPS Healthcare team. His main monitor, the one I nervously checked every few seconds, was shipped from my very own account! Those days were a whirlwind, including 12 days on ECMO, 4 failed clamp trials, 50 heart echos, 10 brain MRI’s, 26 chest x-rays, 2 heart caths, a liver biopsy and a stent. But at two months old, our little guy was cleared of any brain damage and finally put on the boards for his open-heart surgery. This is why what we do matters so much. It was an enormous comfort knowing that everything his team needed, even during the COVID-19 pandemic, was being delivered safely and securely by the best team in the world. It makes me so proud of the work we do every day. It really does matter!” -Ashlie-Marie Paulin, Customer Relations Supervisor for UPS Healthcare 💙 We deliver what matters most: https://bit.ly/3xPzxPS #UPS #Logisitics #Healthcare #DeliverWhatMatters
