👚 We currently have enough clothing for the next six generations. 💺 There are more chairs in the world than people. 📱 In Europe we already have on average, 9.4, connected devices per person. ❌ 80% of Black Friday products end up in landfills. Shop till you drop? ☠ Or giveaway until you feel alive again? 💚 Choose wisely! Help us spread this message! #DontFeedTheBeast

For me Black Friday represents an old era: it is all about consumption and increasing profits. A marketing machinery that creates desires. Let’s introduce a new era of giving away, sharing and donating for the health of our planet and humanity.

One of the best actions we can take is to question our individual consumer behavior. That is something we all have 100% control over. No government or companies are needed to make that change. Be part of this incredible movement by not buying today + reflecting on that.

Love to see it! Use less, use longer and use again. I'd love to campaign in a way that targets the brands pushing marketing onto people, too. But starting with individual action is also a way to get to them.

I can still recall the time when there were no Black Fridays in Finland. And we did not miss a thing - neither then nor now. The same goes with Halloween - the celebration that is as imported ”event” as Black Fridays….
