Okay, character animation and hand-drawn techniques? Those were never my strong suit. Makes me extra appreciative of animators who make it look amazing, especially those who bring much-needed representation to the screen. I'm committed to exposing more, exceptional people of colour in the creative and tech industries. Wesley Louis, Director and Co-Founder of, the BAFTA-nominated, The Line Animation Studio serves as an great example in the world of Character animation. I'm so inspired by his studio’s work, and his commitment to creating hand drawn art and animation art featuring Black people on his insta. The studio’s work is DOPE. Check out The  “AMARO AND WALDEN - Joyride" music video.  https://lnkd.in/eNtEEtZK It's a brilliant mashup of 2D animation layered over real-world footage.  The characters are so well done and feel so alive, their personalities and energy jump out of the screen. I honestly forget I'm not watching real people!  The attention to detail in animation of the characters brings them to life.  The music is banging, and the candid style really draws you in.  The animators' skill in bringing this story to life with the existing footage is incredible.  Pure magic where tech and analogue meet. #animation #2Danimation #characteranimation #musicvideos #creativity #tech #BAFTA #representationmatters #Blackcreatives

There is a fine line between leisure, creativity, immersive experiences/exhibitions, shows, theatre, ... I continue to insist on the importance of processes, of the use of tools adapted to the language of the different profiles and types of public. Art as experience. I fix my gaze on several artists whose work differs in process and result, but inspires and expresses equally. And it is as important to enjoy the contributions of these artists as it is to listen to them and watch them work.  Art seems to continue in its maxim of being a voice, taking sides and reflecting the social pulse. Within immersive cultural leisure, where both the pedagogical facet of the content (on a greater or lesser scale) and the theatrical effect accompanied by objects that bear witness to the virtual are attended to. The coexistence between the digital and the material is an encounter for the evolution towards learning and recognition in the traces that are always part of the past. FREEDOM OF THE ROAD - BEHIND THE SCENES - https://lnkd.in/e6SV2b4p On February 1, 2024, Lewis Hamilton made a groundbreaking announcement: he revealed his decision to bring his exceptional talents to Ferrari for the upcoming 2025 F1 season. Following the news, Ferrari's stock soared by an impressive 12.6%, adding a staggering 7 billion dollars to the total valuation. This significant development reinforced a truth that I have long been aware of – the undeniable value of sharing authentic stories about Black drivers. Our rich culture and distinctive style extend far beyond the realm of music or sports. These elements permeate into the realms of Fashion, Art, Design and now:  Automotive. And while some people may just be discovering “Fast Car” through Luke Combs remake, the significance of Tracy Chapman’s lyrics were never lost on us. Over the past year, I dedicated myself to the creation of a compelling and original video/photo automotive series titled "Freedom of the Road." This series transcends the confines of the vehicle itself, delving into the diverse personalities and communities of Black drivers. Understanding who these stories are about and how they are shared is crucial. Manufacturers are not merely selling inert pieces of metal; they are marketing an ideal, a brand, and a community. It's not just about addressing this community but initiating an ongoing dialogue and facilitating the exchange of information to enhance the driving experience and make it more meaningful. Witnessing and hearing the unique perspectives on "Freedom of the Road" from individuals such as Stan Evans Sr., Rashod Bacon Brigette Berry, and Rylic Alexander has been enlightening. I am proud to announce the completion of this project, coinciding with a moment when the spotlight on Black stories shines brightly. However, it is essential to recognize that this spotlight should persist not just for a single day but 365 days of the year.
