Feel Most Fulfilled at Intersection of: Organizational Sense-making + Team Culture + Synergy Stories
It's game time!! Get your adrenaline pumping people!! It's possible to get wrapped up in the game that solely focuses on "winning." After all it's become the corporate parlance for describing or defining success. The way it is lined up, you always got to win against [blank], [blank], [blank.] It's always something or someone or both that you are playing against, to win to "be seen as successful." Now, it's a whole different playground if you are playing the long game towards your own progression. In that case your goal seizes to become a finish line enforced by others. It becomes your journey. Your lifelong pursuit. The key question to ask ourselves from time to time is... What game am I playing in? Take a moment to reflect on this, and share this with someone you care about who needs to read this. #emotionalintelligence #yourthoughtweaver #simonsinek #theinfiniteplayer

Leadership Strategist | 20+ years in Higher Education | Humor & Heart-Centred Leader | Speaker and Facilitator | Board Game Enthusiast | Founder | Future-minded Optimist
Not everyone knows this about me, but I’m a serious board game enthusiast—not just a casual player. When asked for recommendations, I dive deep into categories before sharing my top picks. Just ask Sean Gallivan, as this was question he asked, in prepartion for sponsoring the upcoming AMICCUS-C Western Regional Conference. For the record, co-operative strategy games are my favorite. Over the years, gaming has taught me valuable lessons I bring into my coaching—especially for those eager to overcome obstacles and fast-track their progress. The ultimate lesson? The journey is part of the game. But here’s more: Do the work: There are no shortcuts leveling up requires consistent effort, even the small, boring actions. Be prepared: Success requires the right tools. Sure, you can fight the baddie with a stick, but it’s easier with a sword. Keep moving forward: You don’t need everything figured out to start. If you fail, recharge and try again. You’re never starting from zero. What strategies do you use to level up in life? #games #strategy #leadership #clank #levelup #skillup
