After all it's become the corporate parlance for describing or defining success. The way it is lined up, you always got to win against [blank], [blank], [blank.] It's always something or someone or both that you are playing against, to win to "be seen as successful." Now, it's a whole different playground if you are playing the long game towards your own progression. In that case your goal seizes to become a finish line enforced by others. It becomes your journey. Your lifelong pursuit. The key question to ask ourselves from time to time is... What game am I playing in?
