On the day of Guru Purnima, I am writing this to all my Gurus throughout my journey and there advice make me to grow up in my professional career. Just to know the difference between Guru and Teacher and once again, I wishe you all the happiest guru purnima ... *Guru Vs Teacher* Difference between a Guru and a Teacher!!!!!!! 1. A teacher takes responsibility for your growth. A Guru makes you responsible for your growth. 2.A teacher gives you things you do not have and require. A Guru takes away things you have and do not require. 3. A teacher answers your questions. A Guru questions your answers. 4. A teacher requires obedience and discipline from the pupil. A Guru requires trust and humility from the pupil. 5. A teacher is a guide on the path. A Guru is a pointer to the way. 6. A teacher sends you on the road to success. A Guru sends you on the road to freedom. 7. A teacher explains the world and its nature to you. A Guru explains yourself and your nature to you. 8. A teacher gives you knowledge and boosts your ego. A Guru takes away your knowledge and punctures your ego. 9. A teacher instructs you. A Guru constructs you. 10. A teacher sharpens your mind. A Guru opens your mind. 11. A teacher reaches your mind. A Guru touches your spirit. 12. A teacher instructs you on how to solve problems. A Guru shows you how to resolve issues. 13. A teacher is a systematic thinker. A Guru is a lateral thinker. 14. One can always find a teacher. But a Guru has to find and accept you. 15. A teacher leads you by the hand. A Guru leads you by example. 16.When a teacher finishes with you, you celebrate. An encouraging voyage at the CORCON 23 organized by AMPP India Chapter in Mumbai. Thank you all for actively participating in CORCON 23. It was really an enriching experience and building networks in the field of Corrosion. As Vice-Chairman for the CORCON 23 designed 17 technical symposia, which includes 03 plenary talks, 19 invited talks and more than 125 technical papers. In addition, 06 Technical Interactive Sessions, 03 Round Table Conference, 01 Workshop based on recent trade in Energy and Infrastructure Projects held at Sahara Star Hotel in Mumbai dated 25-28 Oct 2023. It is indeed pleaser to be part of Asia’s Largest Corrosion Conference in India as Governing Board Member and Member-at-Large, an honor entrusted with this responsibility and to contribute to the success of CORCON23. The experience was not only gratifying but also incredibly informative, providing a platform to witness the exchange of knowledge and expertise among esteemed speakers, attendees, and innovative vendors. My sincere thanks to everyone who played a role in making CORCON a resounding success.
