Today is a day that is forever engrained in American history. 🇺🇸 Today is September 11th, Patriot Day. Join us in honoring and remembering those who were lost on that tragic day and all who have died from illnesses due to the aftermath and rescue efforts.

Where were you that day? Flight 175, 93, 11 and 77 are on their way Betty tells the tower a hijacking is at bay F-15s scramble, afterburners push the way Flight 11 evaporates against the North Tower as souls leave their bodies that day Flight 175 follows flown by souls engulfed in hatred so strong it locks their humanity away Todd calls out "Let's Roll", his selflessness leading the way Unarmed F-16s get ready to ram new threats likes selfless birds of prey As the towers burn, souls fall from our sky Our profound love for them will never die EMTs, Firemen, Police run towards death knowing the price they will pay How selfless can you be to save everything that matters knowing the trip is ending only one way? How many forms of pain was born in that day? Grief, sorrow and hatred paves the way Decades of hunting started that day Wrap enough fear & pain around your soul, you'll feel your humanity fade away Look up from this Valley of Death beyond the anger that paves our way A sunrise of love, let it shine from humanity upon that very day Peace to our Fallen Transformation is now our Calling Devotion to Our Living Selfless in Our Giving From the deepest love from our soul Let's Roll Let's Roll

I was barely 1 year old when the tragedy happened. sure i wasn't in the city at the time, i was with my parents. but i knew i grew up with, it was an era i won't forget. when i learned about the tragic events, i felt guilty. i asked myself: Why was i allowed to be born if they died? I still don't know why, but i'll keep living for their sake. #neverforget.

Honoring those who sacrificed for our nation Regardless of what has been portrayed by some as dismissing the memories of what happened that day .... We will Never Forget ! Nor will our nation turn a blind eye when we are called to Defend Freedom at home or around the world.

I still remember it clear as day…I was supporting a Division Capstone at Fort Hood (at the time), a 20 year old PFC watching as my city was attacked. I watched live as Flight UA175 hit the south tower…and watched as both towers collapsed…all those lives lost in both the NYC and Pentagon attacks as well the heroic acts and sacrifices of the passengers of Flight UA93….I will #neverforget.

I was lying down in a spare bedroom in my fathers house . My father and his girlfriend started screaming . I was alarmed. I though maybe someone got hurt so I ran downstairs . I saw the news about the planes crashing . My fathers jaw was dropped and he looked like he just had a heart attack . His girlfriend had tears in her eyes . She was drinking Vodka to cope with what she viewed . I stayed with them in the living room and watched one of the saddest events in U.S. history . All flights were cancelled. For me to go back to my mothers place I had to take a bus .
