Have you heard of Public Use Microdata Samples (PUMS) data from the Census Bureau? Microdata means it’s record-level data so it’s like looking at individual census questionnaires, but you don't get a lot of geographic precision with it which protects confidentiality. The record-level nature of the data allows us to do data slices we otherwise would not be able to. We use this in our State of Aging profile to get data by age groups we cannot get from regular census data. See examples https://bit.ly/3zGaqzS

One of my favorite features of hvPlot/HoloViews are the linked axes between plots in a layout. Zooming/panning around in one plot automatically syncs the view in the other plots. Data pulled from US Census using censusdis https://lnkd.in/giSg6tiW by Darren Vengroff!
