Listen and observe the workers even if they are not under your control. Example, I had a company at my house changing a windshield damaged by a rock. I made sure my car was parked in the shade but it was still 96 degrees. I found out that their company had put them in uniform shirts that were black and dark red. I wrote a letter to the company letting them know that I was satisfied with the work, but how they had created a dangerous situation for their employees so the could look professional. I gave them some recommendations. If I don’t receive a response I will follow up with them. Employee protection extends beyond those who may be in your company. We are in this together. Your accident is my accident.

I would add drink water starting early in the morning, before work, before coffee ☕️

These should be the law and zealously enforced. People are literally dying at work from heat-related illness due to employer negligence and poor labor protections.

Really good advice and precautions but also we do want to forget the hierarchy of conteol. Isolation will be the best option if it possibles, the engineering control implemented if the activity can not be isolated. Supervison should be implemet his role and responsibilities by observing his team to ensure they drink and enough water and have suitable rest.

add salt to water to add minerals and some taste to it. also hydrate yourself with fruits like watrmelon, or oranges.
