It helped broaden my understanding of global dynamics and the interconnectedness of economies. #Networking Opportunities: The Ambassadors Meet offered an excellent platform for networking with key stakeholders in the international business community. Engaging in discussions and exchanging ideas with ambassadors, business leaders, and policymakers facilitated the establishment of new connections and potential collaborations. Building a robust network is crucial in today's interconnected world, and this event provided ample opportunities for that. Insights into #Bilateral Relations: The event shed light on bilateral relations between countries and the role of diplomacy in fostering economic cooperation. Hearing directly from ambassadors about the challenges and opportunities in enhancing trade relations between their respective countries and India provided valuable insights. Understanding the nuances of diplomatic negotiations and the factors influencing bilateral trade can be instrumental for businesses looking to expand globally. #Cultural Exchange: Beyond economic and diplomatic discussions, the event also facilitated cultural exchange among participants. Learning about the rich cultural heritage of different countries, their traditions, and customs fostered mutual understanding and appreciation. The current geopolitical implications for the region, along with energy spikes and increasing food prices, are driving the world into a multi-faceted crisis. Mankind is sailing through troubled and uncharted waters. Adding to the aforementioned challenges, there are also concerns about new refugee flows owing to the current conflicts and Europe’s security architecture. Reinforcing Europe’s unity and solidarity in the midst of this turmoil is ongoing. Governments, institutions and civil society should cooperate more closely with key stakeholders in order to mitigate the current crisis, underpin social cohesion and achieve stability and recovery for Europe. Against this setting, Romania has a strategic role to play as the country emerges as a key player for Europe’s collective security and NATO’s strategy with regards to Ukraine’s war with Russia. On the business front, Romania’s recent achievements in attracting strategic foreign investments and promoting innovation can serve as a role model and a positive narrative for other central and eastern European countries. Within this context, Economist Impact (Economist Impact SE Europe Events) has great pleasure in announcing the organisation of the Fourth Romanian Business & Investment Roundtable entitled "Shaping a new narrative for prosperity and growth" on April 3rd–4th, 2024, in Bucharest. On July 4th, I had the privilege to attend together with my Colleagues of the Board of the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC) a meeting with the Italian Minister of Enterprises and Made in Italy (MIMIT), Adolfo Urso, during his recent mission to China. The event, held at the Italian Embassy in Beijing, brought together key figures from the Italian business community in China. Ambassador Massimo Ambrosetti hosted the gathering at the Auditorium of the Italian Cultural Institute, setting the stage for a productive dialogue between government officials and business leaders. Minister Urso highlighted the mission's focus on fostering cooperation in green technology and electric mobility, emphasizing environmental and digital sustainability. This aligns with Italy's broader strategy to enhance technological leadership and economic growth in Europe. The meeting provided a unique platform for Italian businesses to share their success stories, discuss challenges, and express their needs directly to Minister Urso. It was an invaluable opportunity to strengthen economic ties between Italy and China, reflecting the ongoing efforts in a fast changing global scenario, and the crucial role of institutional-business relationships in navigating this complex landscape. I extend my gratitude to the Italian Embassy for making this event possible. It was an honour to attend such an important meeting and joining talks aimed at strengthening economic ties between Italy and China. Special thanks to Ambassador Ambrosetti for organizing such a pivotal event in Beijing. #Diplomacy #ItalyChina #EconomicDiplomacy #InternationalTrade #MadeInItaly #ItalianEmbassy #Beijing #ItalianEnterprises #InternationalRelations

✨Today, May 9th, we celebrate Europe Day, and it's a bank holiday here in Luxembourg! Did you know that Luxembourg was the first country to declare this day a public holiday since 2019? Luxembourg has always been a passionate supporter of the European Union, standing firmly behind its ideals since its inception. From hosting the signing of the treaty forming the European Coal and Steel Community in 1952 to endorsing the Schengen agreements in 1985, Luxembourg has played a pivotal role in European integration. As one of the European Capitals, Luxembourg City proudly hosts significant EU institutions, highlighting our nation's unwavering commitment to the European project. Despite being a small country, Luxembourg's dedication to the European project knows no bounds. Situated between Germany, France, and Belgium, our multicultural society thrives, with most of our citizens fluent in three or more languages. This openness reflects our country's embrace of the EU's mission to promote peace and prosperity across the continent. Let's continue to celebrate the spirit of Europe, together! 🌍 #EuropeDay #LuxembourgEU #EuropeanUnion #Multiculturalism

This series of international gatherings aims to bring together global leaders, experts, and diplomats to address key global challenges, foster collaboration, and strengthen international partnerships. It is a huge honor to represent Türkiye in such a field: as migration, international security, climate change, etc. Our journey will begin in three important global cities, each offering a unique setting for high-level discussions: Istanbul, Türkiye: 28th–30th November, 2024 It is a privilege to welcome everyone to my home country for the first phase of the conference. Istanbul, where East meets West, will provide the perfect environment for discussions on enhancing regional cooperation and promoting peace and security. With its rich cultural heritage and strategic importance, Istanbul is an ideal starting point for our diplomatic efforts. Beijing, China: 26th–28th September, 2025 As we move to Beijing, we will focus on global economic development, technological innovation, and sustainable growth. I look forward to engaging with global stakeholders in this vibrant city, where China’s growing influence on the world stage will serve as the backdrop for crucial conversations on international trade and diplomacy. Dubai, UAE: 12th–14th December, 2025 Our final destination will be Dubai, a city known for its innovation and rapid modernization. I am excited about the opportunity to discuss the role of the Middle East in shaping the future of global partnerships. The strengthening of Libyan-Italian economic relations is being seen in a number of sectors and arenas. Beginning with the unification of the Libyan-Italian Chamber of Commerce in Tripoli and Rome in December of 2023, the fostering of collaboration between both countries' business communities has seen a rise in the first half of 2024. Italian companies are reaffirming their interest in the Libyan market with a record-breaking number of Italian companies returning to Libya to participate in Libya Build 2024, the premier exhibition for the construction industry. And this week, a significant influx of Italian companies gathered to mark the 50th anniversary of the Tripoli International Fair. This presence underscores the growing bilateral trade and investment opportunities between both nations. The culmination of these economic ties was marked by an official visit from Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni. Discussions centered around cooperation in vital sectors including energy, healthcare, education, and sports. Following the resounding success of the Libyan-Italian Economic Forum in Rome, plans are already in motion for the next forum to convene in Tripoli come October 2024. This forum promises to be a catalyst for deeper economic collaboration in the private sectors and the exploration of new avenues of partnership. At Expertise Consultancy, we understand what’s needed to facilitate pathways for international businesses to flourish in Libya.
