Meet Tim Fabry, the Public Engagement Assistant in the Public Diplomacy Section of U.S. Embassy Brussels. Our Belgian colleague joined the Embassy last year, and he works on cultural and educational programs and exchanges.  Tim works with other organizations in Brussels to create cultural programs with impact. In just the last four months, he's spearheaded a week-long hip-hop program, conducted an exchange between arts and sports organizations that work with people with disabilities, and helped young women leaders get ready for a career in diplomacy. But that's not all Tim does - he also identifies candidates for our exchange programs, prepares them for their time in the United States, and connects with them when they return. In his words: “Working in Public Affairs allows me to meet many interesting and inspiring people. The variety of projects and partners we work with is exciting.” Tim is a creative thinker and a strategic force behind our programs. He also has a terrific sense of humor! Basically, Tim is everything you could want in a colleague, and we're so lucky to have him as part of our team.
