Don't break the chain! One concept I have instilled this year that has been a game changer is this phrase. Jerry Seinfeld used this when writing jokes. He would do it every day. And yes, not miss a day. If you start doing an activity multiple days in a row and track it, you will start a chain of one, two, three days. The key - Don't break the chain! You can do this with any activity, such as taking a 30-minute walk, writing, reading a book, cold showers, closing all the rings on your apple watch, etc. If you keep the chain going, you will get better! The hard thing for me was tracking it. I took the recommendation of Matt Gray and downloaded the Streaks app on my phone. This app takes it to the next level with a visual that pings you daily and holds you accountable to keep the streak going. Try this with just one activity you want to track and I guarantee you will get better! #accountability #streaks #getbettereveryday

𝙵𝚛𝚒, 𝟷𝟻/𝟶𝟹/𝟸𝟶𝟸𝟺 𝟿:𝟹𝟸𝙿𝚖 Today was horrible. In fact, terrible. I published an update that turned out to be disastrous with wide reports of app failure. Lucky for me and customers, I safely reverted to previous version. What a day! I am not quitting. In fact, I want to find enough phones to test the update. App kept crashing on Android 10+. Not easy to debug when you don't have physical access to the phone. Everything works perfect on my phone. Android 8. I compiled to target Android 7 through to 13. These are moments I regret my introversion. I am almost failing because I cannot get access to Android 7, 9, 10, 11, 12 and 13 devices. You know, a phone is a very private gadget. You just can't borrow people's phones without them getting jittery about it by thinking you want to discover things about them. In fact, very few will even allow you touch theirs. I hate making people worry. My typical user is someone who cannot easily find a folder in the device's internal storage. It's not easy to understand exactly what's happening without seeing for yourself. But I believe it's something to do with data storage path. Anyway, some days are gray. I really needed that update to go live so I can move this thing forward at great speed. I am just tired of such things holding me back. 💡 My best productivity hack: - Using Notion to plan *literally* my entire life 🤯 Recently, I've added lil shortcuts on my iPhone's homepage for easy access, and it's a game changer. Each shortcut sends me directly to each of my most-visited pages. Take that, notes app! 😈 I now organize work, school, & my personal life with ease. 🥳 An added bonus? - Having Notion in my toolkit allows me to (at least somewhat) tame the disorganized bees frantically buzzing around my brain 🐝 (I also save money on post-it notes)
