They attacked me because they foolishly thought that I was challenging them. I just saw problems and weaknesses in systems and looked for or created solutions and ways to solve said problems. That is the job of business owners, is it not? I like quality products. I search for the best in everything that I do. I want top knotch. Whether that is people, products or ways of doing things. It has to be the best. It took me a while to come up with the title for my position in what I do. I give you three options in how you can see my work. You can call me a solutions consultant, an independent contractor or a quantum data analyst. I've narrowed it down because obviously their is more but simple is sweet and sweet is sexy.

There are a few straight-out-of-a-textbook questions on SQL which are asked if you are interviewing for an entry-level analyst role. Knowing them will surely provide a competitive edge over others.

Senior Enterprise Data Modeler, Chief Data Officer, CTO, Law & BRD to Multidimensional Atomic Data Model STRUCTURAL UML, 60+ SKILL SETS, Bank/Accounting legal compliance, data security, $6000+/hr 50% deposit #datamodeler
Another stupid recruiter? I have an urgent requirement with one of my clients, details given below. If you find your self suitable for the position, please send me your latest updated resume along with contact details. Please include your employer details as well. Job Title Sr. Data Modeler Project Location San Jose, CA Duration 12 months /Contract Skills Required and Job Description: Objective: This Resource will support data engineer and data analysis work for the Integrated Justice System and BI Platform Modernization projects. Rate: $45/hour ———-RESPONSE———- That job cannot be done onsite. Justice system databases usually have over 10,000 tables due to massive legal requirements. The hardware required to create that costs $8,000,000. It won’t fit into a cubicle. Minimum data modeling budget is $30,000,000 for 36 months, NOT 12, with an additional 20 million for everything else - business analysts, developers, unit tests, performance test, legal review test, documentation, encryption, cybersecurity, etc. Nobody can do any of that for $45/hour. I could make that driving a truck or delivering pizza. Additionally 99% of government buildings are unsafe due to mold growth and sick building syndrome. I would lose any staff I send onsite after 90 days due to illness and permanent lung disabilities. Lastly, A new report from real estate giant Zillow shows the average mortgage in San Jose is now $9,136 a month, including homeowners insurance and taxes. The minimum income required to live there is $439,000. Your job rate at $90,000 is 80% below a living wage in San Jose and 99.7% below the required budget to build a justice system data model. You are requesting that I do a three year 30 million dollar job in one year with 0.3% of the required budget. https://lnkd.in/gNgxY4Ax

🌟 Why Keeping in Touch with Old Colleagues is a Game-Changer! 🌟 Just had an amazing catch-up with my former CIO earlier today, and it got me thinking about the power of staying connected with past colleagues. Here’s my own thoughts as to why it’s so important: Emotional Support: Work friendships provide a sense of belonging and camaraderie. Staying in touch can be a great source of emotional support. Knowledge Exchange: Tap into the unique insights and industry knowledge of your old teammates. It’s like having a personal think tank! Collaboration Opportunities: Whether it’s a freelance project or a new business venture, having a positive relationship with former colleagues makes collaboration a breeze. Mentorship and Guidance: Experienced colleagues can offer invaluable advice and mentorship, helping you navigate your career path with confidence. Leveraging Past Successes: Successful past collaborations can pave the way for future projects. Keep those connections alive! Positive References: If you’re in a hiring position, having good relationships with former colleagues can make the process smoother and more rewarding. Personal Growth: Interacting with former colleagues can challenge your perspectives and inspire new ideas, leading to personal and professional growth. Boosting Your Reputation: Maintaining good relationships helps you build a positive reputation in your field, opening doors to further opportunities. In short, investing time in nurturing these connections is totally worth it. And while, I'm at it, and I am not looking for a change (I adore my job, the peeps, and the culture at my organization is amazing - check out my earlier post if you missed it below), I know many are - a couple more tidbits about why maintaining relationships is also beneficial... Networking Goldmine: Old colleagues can open doors to new opportunities, job leads, and potential clients. You never know where your career might take you! Top-Notch References: Need a glowing recommendation? Former colleagues can vouch for your skills and work ethic, giving you a competitive edge in the job market. Cheers to the power of professional relationships! 🥂

Tip to find the people who are hiring: Use Role name and Hiring in your search bar, For example, I used Data Analyst here. Feel free to use different names to get more results. Select people, and put some extra filters, I used location and actively hiring, you can add some other filters based on your requirements. You will get a list of people hiring in that field. Send them a connection request with a note, or send an inmail and schedule a call. Not everyone will accept your request and schedule a call. Here, there are 381 people, assuming a 5-10% response rate, you will have around 30 calls set up on average! Sometimes, it is not just what you know but who you know 😉 Feel free to share/ repost

Director at Talenting Career Science | championing neurodiversity in recruitment | 28 years as a recruiter in Data & Analytics | staffing Snowflake projects across the UK 🇬🇧 and NL 🇳🇱
Struggling with changing project demands and a stretched team? Data leaders, you’re not alone…. Mike called us following a merger between his business and another. Two businesses, two different tech-stacks and a whole host of incompatibility. He needed someone to do a high-level review, and define the data strategy. That confirmed he needed a Data Engineer, a Data Scientist and a Data Governance specialist to join to implement the strategy. He was able to tap into Talenting’s pool of contractors, quickly onboarding the specialists he needed. And what made the solution perfect for him? All three contractors had worked together on assignments previously. They knew each other’s capabilities and could deliver immediate results. Did you know Talenting now has teams of verified contractors available for immediate deployment? #DataEngineering #DataScience #DataGovernance #Contractor #Interim #Recruitment
