The Colburn School has launched the digital archive of music pioneer and Holocaust survivor Herbert Zipper and Renowned Dancer and Teacher Trudl Dubsky Zipper! The collection includes 20,000 artifacts from the couple's lives, including a handwritten letter from Herbert to Trudl while he was imprisoned in Manila during World War II; 1930s cabaret music written by Dr. Zipper; a 1929 newspaper clipping featuring a favorable review of a chamber concert conducted by Dr. Zipper; and a wealth of audiovisual materials. Support for the project was provided by the Save America's Treasures Grant Program. #IMLSgrant. Learn more ➡️ https://lnkd.in/e3888_PV Discover SAT grants ➡️ https://lnkd.in/eYEhi3FQ
